South Londoners ‘Spirit Level’ drop their latest single ‘Zestless’ in anticipation for their upcoming EP.
The jaunty rhythm in ‘Zestless’ emits buoyant indie-pop vibes right from the first bars. The song uses the band’s trademark drum samples, creating a bouncy, airy beat for listeners to bop to. The band have also released a music video to accompany the song, in which vibes of temptation, guilt and frustration are reinforced. Fans of ‘Phoenix’ and ‘Everything ‘Everything’ will soon take a liking to the music that ‘Spirit Level’ create.
The trio, consisting of Alex Beard (Vocals), Simon Caldwell (Guitar/Keyboard) and Max Thompson (bass), recorded the track in Peckham’s 123 Studios.
